Rooted In Soil
An Agricultural Collective
The Purpose of Community
Our earliest ancestors understood the strength of togetherness, as we are one of the many species that thrive in packs. Living in tribes gave us the advantage of being able to not only do things that required more strength and endurance that one man could conjure, but this lifestyle also allowed for the transmission of knowledge to be freely passed among the entire tribe. This close communion of elder and youth was what gave rise to the organized harmony that abounded within their tribes. Through shared knowledge, they were able to grow and live sustainably within the ecosystems that they inhabited.
As our ancestors evolved, we started to move out of this cohesive group. Each person was told to create their own family unit, and to acquire their own land, and to endeavor on their own personal economic journey. Though this change in community dynamics has allowed for the progression into our current technological age, it seems that the lack of connectedness still carries a deep scar. We at Rooted in Soil see our current technological age as being the opportunity to enter back into the Garden of Eden.
We are here to create a collective network of experts, elders, leaders, and laymen who want to learn from one another. We in the Rooted In Soil Collective share the same path and we are yoked to the same ethics of conservation and sustainability. We understand that in order to achieve a fully sustainable ecosystem it is imperative that our agricultural practices align with this goal. The importance of this cannot be underestimated, so please join our cause to bring this collective knowledge and consciousness to the world.
*Do not fret, we accept all applicants. We just want to learn a little bit about you.
